Malls are emptying, collapsing, decaying. This project asks what happens if we reuse failure itself. Renovations, cracks, and structural fixes are not hidden but turned into an architectural language. Failure becomes ornament, structure becomes signal. The proposal imagines abandoned malls as sites for housing and mixed-use communities. Grocery stores, health clinics, and job support fold in alongside apartments, reframing malls as engines of care. A vision for adaptive reuse that addresses both crisis and potential.
