Monuments tend to fix history in place. Subject to Change asks what happens when their meaning stays open to interpretation. Designed for the Concéntrico Festival in Logroño, the project surrounds the equestrian statue at Paseo del Espolón with a porous field of panels organized on a 4×4 grid. Apertures crop and reframe views of the monument, the park, and the city beyond. As visitors move through the structure, they become part of the composition themselves, turning the monument into something collectively edited rather than passively observed.
